Welcome to the Ann Arbor Music Academy, where we believe that music education and community go hand in hand for student success. Our mission is to provide a supportive and engaging environment for individuals of all ages and skill levels to explore their musical passions and connect with a community of fellow musicians.
Our Director, Marla Moore, has been a professional musician and voice instructor for over a decade. With a master's degree in voice education, a love of music and a passion for mentoring and developing students Marla started the Ann Arbor Music Academy. Her goal was to create a Music school with programs and opportunities that would create a strong community of instructors and students centered around music and music education.
At the Ann Arbor Music Academy, we understand that learning music is not just about mastering an instrument or hitting the right notes. It's also about developing creativity, self-expression, confidence and a sense of belonging. That's why we focus on creating a positive and nurturing environment that fosters growth and exploration.
Our team of experienced and passionate instructors is committed to providing personalized instruction tailored to each student's individual needs and goals. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced musician looking to take your skills to the next level, we're here to help you achieve your musical aspirations.
I am Marla Moore, the Owner of the Ann Arbor Music Academy. Our focus is on providing high-quality music education as well as a supportive community to students of all ages in the Ann Arbor area. We believe that both one on one instruction and community can foster personal growth, and we strive to create a welcoming learning environment for all. Our programs and classes cater to students of all skill levels, and our team of qualified teachers is passionate about helping students achieve their goals.
